Ebb&Flow
At Ebb&Flow we believe that sustainable high performance begins with the energy of your people.
Corporate Wellness is by no means a new concept, but it’s one that’s growing in popularity in the world of business. Good health and well-being is vital for employee engagement and organisational performance; and with our core team coming from corporate business backgrounds, we know this as well as anyone!
With the resources currently available to us through our sister company Ebb&Flow Yoga, it was an obvious step to expand and start working with bigger companies that got in touch and requested our wellness services.
I started my first company in events management aged 21, by the time I was 26 it had turned over £4.5m. We specialised in making extra amazing experiences, delivering everything with exacting precision for our clients of extremely large organisations. We had to check and double check our supply chain to provide the very best delivery each time.
This level of precision and drive has stayed with me all my life. I then went on to own, run and finally sell one the UK’s best independent hotels, winning ‘Tatler’s” top ten spas of the world and two years later the coveted Independent Hotel of the Year at our industry Oscars (the Cateys). Creating an ambience for overall wellness, stress free environments was obviously my forte! After a small spell out of the limelight post the Feversham Arms Hotel & Verbena Spa I decided to help my daughter to establish her dream – A Wellness Studio and the rest is history as they say!
After four years working in a corporate environment in London, I realised I needed a change; of scenery and purpose.
I left London to go travelling with the aim of seeing the bigger picture and taking the time to really figure out what I wanted to do. I spent the vast majority of my time outdoors; walking, hiking, swimming, I was naturally waking up and going to sleep without any alarms, and I felt more relaxed and happy than I ever have before. This is what is missing, in my humble opinion, from the corporate world of business, and what I had been craving.
Now I am a qualified level 3 personal trainer, and working hard to bring that awareness to people who live in a city, who commute daily, and who spend most of their day sat at a desk. Movement and time in nature should be intrinsically woven into our daily routine, stress should be kept to a minimum, and we are here to provide you with the tools to achieve that.
